Iran Cultural Heritage and Tourism Investment Group (SEMEGA) began its work in the banking and monetary field by founding Tourism Bank (public joint stock company). The aim was to attract idle capital and financial resources and channel them into financing different economic sectors, contributing effectively to the growth and prosperity of the national economy.
– Finance and investment
One of SEMEGA's strategic goals is to create wealth through direct investment in the shares of profitable, successful companies. Its most significant investments in this area are holdings in Negin Tourism Economic Company of Iranians (ticker GENGIN) and Loghman Investment Company (ticker VALOGHMAN).
– Tourism and cultural heritage
Focusing on the development of the tourism industry and on improving the technical and functional quality of Iran's hotels, SEMEGA continuously works through direct participation and investment in a range of projects, playing an effective role in investing, equipping, operating, building, executing and supervising hospitality projects at home and abroad.
