Listed on the capital market under the symbol "VaGardesh", Tourism Bank is among the leading banking tickers. To date this private bank has acted as the operating bank of the tourism industry: financing large and mid-sized projects (hotels, accommodation and leisure venues) from internal resources, the National Development Fund and joint schemes with the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Tourism, while also funding micro-businesses such as individual handicraft and tourism operators — playing an effective role in the quantitative and qualitative growth of tourism throughout the country.

Under the motto "Beyond Borders", the bank works in full compliance with the country's monetary and banking regulations to deliver diverse banking services, expand its foreign-exchange capability and provide maximum facilities to operators in tourism, exports and imports.

Among its distinctions, in 2022 (1401) the bank earned the "Pioneer" rank in the IMC ranking of Iran's 100 top companies (one of the top ten) and leads the country in modern electronic banking services (ToBank), setting a clear outlook for its stakeholders and customers.

Iran Cultural Heritage and Tourism Investment Group currently holds 10 percent of the bank as a major shareholder and has applied to the Central Bank of Iran for permission to raise its holding to 33 percent.
